Image Restoration
In this example, an old painting was restored. The colors were faded, there were crayon marks and gouges. There were pieces missing from the surface which showed the canvas underneath.
The original was approximately 16x20 in. I provided an 8x10 in. print after the work was completed, and informed the client that I could have a 16x20 in. print made at a service bureau.

Image Manipulation
One project for the National Grandparents Council required the use of a photo of a certain family. The only one readily available was taken during Christmas. It was my job to remove the Christmas element and focus on the family. The image was used on the Grandparents Day web page.

Artistic Manipulation
The original was a scan from a four-color publication. It was then manipulated to remove distracting elements and converted to black and white. Two examples are shown of Artistic Manipulation: the image was given a monochromatic tint; the image was colorized.
